  2. SOFTWARE USE LIMITATIONS AND LIMITED LICENSE

  4. General Product License. This copy of Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood 
  5. of Steel (TM) Single Player Demo (the "Software") is intended 
  6. solely for your personal non-commercial home entertainment use.  
  7. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the 
  8. Software, except as permitted by law.  Interplay Entertainment 
  9. Corp. and its licensors retain all right, title and interest in 
  10. the Software including all intellectual property rights embodied 
  11. therein and derivatives thereof.  The Software, including, without 
  12. limitation, all code, data structures, characters, images, sounds, 
  13. text, screens, game play, derivative works and all other elements 
  14. of the Software may not be copied, resold, rented, leased, 
  15. distributed (electronically or otherwise), used on a pay-per-play, 
  16. coin-op or other for-charge basis, or for any commercial purpose. 
  17. Any permissions granted herein are provided on a temporary basis 
  18. and can be withdrawn by Interplay Entertainment Corp. at any time. 
  19. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

  21. Modem and Network Play.  If the Software contains modem or network 
  22. play, you may play the Software via modem transmission with 
  23. another person or persons directly without transmission through a 
  24. third party service or indirectly through a third party service 
  25. only if such service is an authorized licensee of Interplay.  For 
  26. the purpose of this license, a "third party service" refers to any 
  27. third party service which provides a connection between two or 
  28. more users of the Software, manages, organizes, or facilitates 
  29. game play, translates protocols, or otherwise provides a service 
  30. which commercially exploits the Software, but does not include a 
  31. third party service which merely provides a telephonic connection 
  32. (and nothing more) for modem or network play.  Authorized 
  33. licensee services are listed on the Interplay Entertainment Corp. 
  34. World Wide Web Site located at http://www.interplay.com.  This 
  35. limited right to transmit the Software expressly excludes any 
  36. transmission of the Software of any data streams thereof on a 
  37. commercial basis, including, without limitation, transmitting the 
  38. Software by way of a commercial service (excepting those specific 
  39. commercial services licensed by Interplay) which translates the 
  40. protocols or manages or organizes game play sessions.

  42. Acceptance of License Terms.  By acquiring and retaining this 
  43. Software, you assent to the terms and restrictions of this 
  44. limited license.
